Welcome Message from the Pastor

Dear Parishioners and Friends of Saint Mary’s:

Welcome to the Website of Saint Mary’s Parish of Pawtucket, Rhode Island.

In the Gospel of Saint Luke, we hear the beautiful words of Saint Elizabeth to her cousin Mary: “Blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb.”(Lk 1:42) For over 175 years, under the patronage of our Blessed Mother, the people of this great parish have grown in their faith in Jesus Christ and their love for one another through Our Lady’s intercession and through the Sacraments of Baptism, Confession, Holy Communion, Confirmation, Matrimony, and the Anointing of the Sick. Through the Sacrament of Holy Orders, many priests have served this parish of St. Mary’s over the years and have brought our Lord Jesus Christ to the parishioners and to our community through both their word and their example.

I hope and pray that through the intercession of our Patroness, Mary the Immaculate Conception, that the Lord will continue to Bless our beloved Parish for many years to come and I invite all who visit our site to become an important part of our future through your prayers and support.
